A self-taught artist, Murielle Lévesque draws inspiration from subjects found in her surroundings.
She began her artistic explorations with oil and acrylic, then turned to mixed media, which allow her to spontaneously express her inner world.
Murielle Lévesque experiments with tissue paper to add transparency and texture to her works. Shapes and lines emerge randomly, guiding her in her composition.
As a result, mixed media is the artistic medium she particularly favors. It allows her the creativity and spontaneity to express herself freely in both semi-figurative and abstract styles.
You can meet Murielle Lévesque at her home in Saint-Bruno-de-Kamouraska, as well as at art events organized by the Reg’art group in the Kamouraska region.
