Description

The Armand-Vaillancourt Cultural Center, located in the old schoolhouse in Saint-André de Kamouraska, is an art center dedicated to promoting culture and creativity in all its forms. Overseen by the Armand-Vaillancourt Foundation, it perpetuates the sculptor’s legacy by providing a space for dissemination and encounters, conducive to exchange and reflection.

This dynamic venue hosts a wide variety of cultural activities, ranging from visual arts to music, dance, theater, performance art, digital art, and more. The Cultural Center also hosts conferences, film and video screenings, storytelling evenings, and much more, creating a rich and stimulating environment for the entire community.

Our mission is to support artistic creation, encourage intergenerational exchange, and promote access to culture for all. We do this by providing a setting conducive to reflection and inspiration while promoting contemporary art outside of major centers.
