Come explore the Musée maritime du Québec in L’Islet-sur-Mer, located just 75 kilometers west of Kamouraska, and immerse yourself in the fascinating world of navigation and maritime culture!

The museum offers five captivating exhibitions and the unique opportunity to visit two historic ships: the Ernest Lapointe, a retired Coast Guard icebreaker, and the Bras d’Or 400, a submarine hunter.

It’s the perfect destination for an outing with family or friends. Starting June 19, 2025, discover the new exhibition HIVERNAGE UKIITILLUGU ᐅᑭᑎᓪᓗᒍ, which explores Arctic encounters during the expeditions of the famous Joseph-Elzéar Bernier.

With its new river park (winner of two prestigious awards), 200 ship models, and interactive activities, the museum offers an unforgettable maritime experience on the banks of the St. Lawrence River. An adventure not to be missed, just a few villages from Kamouraska!
