Description

Located on the border between Bas-Saint-Laurent and Chaudière-Appalaches, Seigneurie des Aulnaies is a must-see heritage site.

This historic estate brings the seigneurial era to life through guided tours led by characters in period costume. The flour mill, built in 1739 and rebuilt in 1842, is still in operation. It still uses its original mechanism, including one of the largest bucket wheels in the world, to produce high-quality artisanal flour from organic grains.

The Victorian manor house, built in 1853, impresses with its elegant architecture, vast galleries, and heritage garden. Together, they offer an immersive experience at the heart of history.

At the Welcome Pavilion, the boutique offers local products and a variety of organic artisanal flours, the perfect souvenirs to extend your visit. Seigneurie des Aulnaies is a unique destination for history buffs and nature lovers alike!
