Go in search of the giant postage stamps of the Haut-Pays de Kamouraska region.
They illustrate elements of the Haut-Pays’ identity, such as the presence of the Wolastoqiyik nation, the vanished village of Rivière-Manie, the log drive, hunting, fishing, mushroom picking and sugaring-off season.
These 22 works, by artists Miguel Forest and Pierre Brignaud, are hung on barns, sheds and municipal buildings.
They were created as part of the 2nd edition of the Appel de projets en art public pour la route du Haut-Pays de Kamouraska.
Will you also be able to discover the 8 works from the 1st edition? Hint: there’s as much in the fields as on the walls…
